Good hotel with free wi-fi in rooms, off-site car park, and 24-hour security. I remember my first stay when the staff helped me choose the best taxi. I highly recommend trying the onsen for relaxation!

I was disappointed by the outdated ambience of the hotel. the aroma of stale smoke from both the room and hallways was bothersome despite the cleaning attempts. Though we did appreciate the charm of the traditional Japanese elements in our room, everything felt very worn down and in dire need of a renovation. The location was somewhat off the beaten path, making it inconvenient to access nearby attractions, which added to our overall discontent.

I loved my stay in a Twin Room, Smoking, which was spacious and bright with a large window that let in so much natural light. The onsen experience on the upper floor was a great way to relax, even though the view was limited due to the steam. The kaiseki-style dinners were a highlight-the presentation was beautiful, and each dish was carefully explained by the friendly staff.

The decor feels dated, reminiscent of an old hospital with sterile elements, and both carpeting and furnishings show signs of wear. I spent two nights in a spacious Japanese-style room with a private bath, and the view of the valley was simply breathtaking while I relaxed in the hot water. The meals were generous and absolutely delicious, especially the kaiseki-style dinner that offered a wonderful experience of Japanese cuisine. While the onsen facilities were clean and tidy, it would have been nice to have more vegan options during breakfast.

I had an amazing experience enjoying the large tatami area in my room while relaxing in the soothing onsen. The sauna was a nice touch, and I even took a break in the karaoke room for some fun. The only downside was that the breakfast selection could have used a bit more variety, but that didn’t ruin my stay. 😊
